Beware the Ides of March! (It's my rezz-day)
I am a slave in Jenny Molden's family since 13June, and I have personally belonged to Carolyn Brandi sincce 21June. I had gotten bored, with my girl gone scarce, and was running around BBF in pony-tack, Jenny had me captured, and kept me locked as a pony, until I was broken back to it again. When I begged her to give me to Carolyn, they both interpreted that as a submission, so they agreed to co-own me, and keep me permanently as a slave, for my own good, to prevent my heart being continually broken by gone-girl submissives.
I don't switch back and forth. I am a hard-switch. All one or the other, with momentum, for long periods of time. I was roleplaying online before SL was born, and have spent about equal amounts of time on both ends of a leash. Across the last 18-months, I owned 12 girls, one at a time, for periods of 36-hours to ten-weeks; but they mostly broke my heart. So I decided that it fits the definition of insanity to keep operating the same way, and hoping for different results.
Soulplay: Like roleplay, except you are always yourself and the sum of your experience - but in different circumstances.
SL is the world's greatest 3D, interactive, community-mural. We all paint at least a few tiles, To me, most of what I do here fits under the broad heading of art. Also we are playing BDSM-Barbie, an adult version of the childhood make-believe and roleplaying-games we played as kids, with dolls. It can also be like two people writing a 'Choose Your-Own Romance" novel for each other.
"Forever – is composed of Nows –" Emily Dickinson
I have this quote prominent in my profile, because it is the most profound concept that I ever read.
Dickinson is saying that, from a subjective standpoint, we live forever, because our lives are comprised of an infinite number of moments. Especially on SL.
"Brevity is the soul of wit." Hamlet II,2
I used to be a para-roleplayer, until I got better at roleplay, and saying more with less. Roleplay is theatre, not prose-literature. Detail should be suggestive, not exhaustive. The tone and tenor of dialog should be the major indicator of your mental-state, not narrative full of adjectives and adverbs.
Strong like water: A blow might sink into them, and they can be profoundly hurt by it. But they recover from the blow because, it’s short term and their shape is eternal.
