The night becomes a slowly forming prophecy;
The edges of reality are places no living soul should see.
What was, what is, and what will come to be,
Lies hidden in the roots of a holy tree.
The dream has shown the cosmic branches where it's grown;
A prophecy of fate that no mortal soul should own.
The pale light of the morning is the dusk of the dream;
The memory of that cold journey leaves the mind with a seam.
The foresight of the next dark night brings a chilling shiver—
For darkness awaits past the day, where I will float in a black river.
