Marco Alighieri

He is the son of Marcus of Port Kar, of House Alighieri, and Lady Danila of Ar, of House Bandit. He is the grandson of Lex and Victoria. Originally born to the Warrior Caste, Marco entered the Scribe Caste as a young man and has served Gor for over a thousand years. During that time he has held the office of Head of Caste of the Scribes and other High Council roles in Jad, Temos, Jasmine, Sais, Helmsport, Hochburg, Rorus, Turmus, Ar's Station, and many other cities. He has served as a magistrate, administrator, regent, captain, explorer, and diplomat, spending most of his life resolving disputes through law rather than steel.

Former companions include Melek Turmus, Alenia Lange'erik, Forest Winterberry, and Priscilla Aurelius Brutus, Gialynne Ricci Octanus, Sofia Crixus Corvus.

Today he's companioned to Trinity Althar and his heart remains in Cos, Teletus and Avarra.
