Marco Alighieri

Marco Alighieri currently serves as the Magistrate of Teletus and the Captain of the Alighieri Fleet overseeing Cos, Port Kar and Asperiche.

He is the son of Marcus of Port Kar, of House Alighieri, and Lady Danila of Ar, of House Bandit. He is the grandson of Lex and Victoria.

Originally born to the Warrior Caste, Marco entered the Scribe Caste as a young man and has served Gor for over a thousand years. During that time he has held the office of Head of Caste of the Scribes and other High Council roles in Jad, Temos, Jasmine, Sais, Helmsport, Hochburg, Rorus, Turmus, Ar's Station, and many other cities. He has served as a magistrate, administrator, regent, captain, sailor, and diplomat, spending most of his life resolving disputes through law rather than steel.

Former companions include Melek Turmus, Alenia Albinsdottir, Forest Winterberry, and Priscilla Aurelius Brutus.
