Coverings:
Florence does not wear a hijab, full head covering, or traditional mouth veil. She is tired of wearing them and has no desire to return to them. Her Guardian has given her permission to dress without these coverings. She instead wears a mouth chain or similar ornamental covering, which she is comfortable and happy wearing. Any concerns regarding the propriety of her coverings should not be argued with Florence. Ask her who her Guardian is and address the matter with him. Florence's teeth were charged with ost venom at birth. Good luck if she bites you.

Born to tenacious Physicians who perished in the wars of Treve, Florence survived to continue the legacy they left behind. Many cities have given her sanctuary over the years, and wherever she goes, she works for her Caste and contributes to the community that shelters her. She has built infirmaries, opened clinics, and devoted herself to Gorean medicine, herbology, and alchemy while encouraging future Physicians to learn their craft.

Florence is now a Physician of Avarra and operates the Hewitt Clinic, which is open to the people and visitors of the city.

Earth:
Born and raised in Chicago by pastoral parents, Florence grew up valuing humility, generosity, resourcefulness, and a simple life. After earning her master's degree in education and theology, she dedicated herself to traveling where she believed Christ and compassionate service were needed most. Romance and ordinary friendships have never been priorities for her.
