A Character is a fictional persona or identity, not the real person behind the keyboard. The character has its own personality, beliefs, goals, emotions, and way of speaking, which may be completely different from those of the person controlling it. Everything the character says, thinks, feels, and does belongs only to that fictional persona and should not be mistaken for the real views, opinions, or actions of the person portraying them. In short, the character is a role being acted out, while the person behind the screen remains separate from the fictional identity.
