Fang is a man whose life stretches back to a time before the First Chronicles of Cabot were ever recorded. Once, war was the only life he knew. It is the final trigger capable of shattering centuries of discipline, awakening the ancient predator beneath the healer's calm exterior. In the face of a Kur, Fang ceases to be a physician. He becomes the living embodiment of Torvald's wrath, driven by an irresistible impulse to hunt, kill, and unleash utter devastation until the threat is no more.
