I was working Bourbon Street in the Quarter, finally getting off the street, starting a bartending job at Maison Bourbon. Walking to work I witnessed a mob hit, it was awful, I passed out and awoke in the back of an ambulance, with a police officer asking me questions. I knew right then I had to get out of there or I was dead. After I was released from hospital, I talked the officer into letting me get a couple things from home before going to the station and I went in packed some underwear and a change of clothes then jumped out the window and ran. I have been running ever since that night.
I met a man who told me about the Amazon, he said a girl could go and be lost without a trace. I was in Houston in Texas that day
So I put on my skimpiest dress and I made enough money to make it to Brazil. I got off the plane, scared to death and walked straight into the forest.
I had nothing
No money left, no clothes, nothing. The first few days I was stumbling around aimlessly, and I met a beautiful girl who showed me to her camp. I havent left. Sometimes i think they will find me here, but my new sisters are fierce warriors, they will not let me be taken.
