Second Life is not a game, not a hiding place, but a communication tool used by real people from all over the world. Second Life is a great stimulus for creativity and inspiration. For those who think SL is just a game, well.... My Avi had no heart or feelings, so I gave her my own.
Don't think for a moment that SL and RL are separable. You're fooling yourself. Your personality bleeds out of RL through your avatar. Your emotions, feelings, moods, all of that is there for all to see. Never apologise for your feelings. That's like apologising for being real.

Positive feelings arise when you are honest with yourself and accept your personality and physical characteristics. And when you belong to people and friends who accept you without question.
