Alaric Gates

Alaric Gates, the firstborn son of Tristan Gates, was named in honor of his father, carrying the weight of his family's legacy from birth. Raised within the walls of Esalinus, his childhood was shaped less by comfort than by discipline. Under the stern and unforgiving guidance of his uncle, Vitihho, Alaric was molded into a warrior, learning that strength, duty, and resilience came before all else.

Dedicated to the Caste of Warriors, Alaric devoted himself to mastering the art of combat and defending his people. His life followed a clear path until the fall of Esalinus shattered everything he had known. Forced into the wider world, he wandered from land to land, where hardship became his greatest teacher. Along his travels, he gained skills and wisdom that no city could have offered, learning to adapt, survive, and see beyond the rigid traditions of his upbringing.

When word reached him that his father, Tristan, might be in grave danger, Alaric wasted no time answering the call. His journey led him to the city of Venna, where he sought to reunite with his father and stand beside him once more.
