A boondoggle day trip with a Merchant to purchase some supplies , they were arrested within a five ehn conversation. Caught up in the middle of a political war they did not even know was unfolding, a simpleTurmus occupant and a another man's slave girl were detained and charged as suspected spies. Treason. By the grace of the Priest Kings, instead of execution they were released to city arrest, never to be out of sight of the guardsman named Echemus while a full investigation was underway. Would they ever make it home? Likely not. Not until wars end, at least.

With the investigation over, it was the decision of the Magistrate that there was no malice involved in their arrival. The man that simply *called* her his then made sure that she actually was, and a new life in a new city begins. Selnar would become home. Ogadai was now master, and she was at the mercy of some very regimented, schooled and intimidating men.
