Raptura of Turia is a Gorean Born Free Woman, sister to the Scribe, Lady Ivy-Rose of Turia. Born within the radiant white walls of Turia, she was raised in a household devoted to intellect and discipline. Her mother served as a respected Scribe, her father a Physician of established standing.
As the eldest daughter, Raptura inherited not only expectation but aptitude. From an early age she demonstrated keen observation, patience, and an unflinching composure in the presence of injury or illness. Where others turned away, she leaned closer to understand.
She followed in her father’s footsteps, dedicating herself fully to the healing arts. Years of study refined her knowledge of anatomy, restorative treatments, and advanced medical practice. Over time she became a sought-after Physician within Turia, earning her place in the Cylinder of Medicine, where she practiced with precision and unwavering professionalism.
Her studies did not end with common ailments. Raptura developed a focused academic interest in toxins and foreign substances. Not to create them, nor to misuse them, but to understand their structure, progression, and reversal. She believed that one cannot protect life from what one refuses to study. This philosophy strengthened her reputation as a physician capable of handling complex and rare cases.
She bore two daughters, both now grown, raising them within the values of discipline, intellect, and self-possession. Motherhood did not diminish her professional dedication; rather, it deepened her resolve to preserve life wherever possible.
It was much later in her career that she encountered an unexpected turning point.
One evening, within the quiet discipline of her chambers, she rendered aid to a sable-clad individual who arrived bearing wounds that spoke of silence and precision. It was only after stabilizing him that she learned he belonged to what many bluntly call the Assassin Caste.
Rather than recoil in fear, Raptura felt something else. Curiosity. Not toward violence, but toward the psychology of those who lived so close to it. Toward the discipline required. Raptura is protected by the Scarlet Ghost of Turia, who is also her Sister Ivy-Roses' FC. They all live together in one Apartment in the High Caste Cylinder in Turia.
