Norik was born in the city of Turia, known for its two majestic towers. He was the son of a respected slave trader whose reputation echoed far beyond the city's streets and marketplaces. Norik grew up in an environment of prosperity and high expectations; his father placed great importance on the strict training of the slaves, who were molded under his hand into true masterpieces of their kind.

From an early age, Norik was introduced to the art of slave trading. His father, a man of iron will and even more iron principles, demanded that he strive for nothing less than perfection. Every slave who passed through their hands not only had to meet his requirements, but also had to become a source of pride for the family. His father's strict lessons shaped Norik, and he soon developed his own philosophy: training should be hard but fair. Under his guidance, slaves should surpass themselves and earn the honor of becoming a kajira for their new owners.

But Norik was ruthless. Female slaves who did not meet his high standards were sold without a second thought – often to mines or farmers, where they had to perform the hardest work. These decisions were not easy for him, but the pursuit of greatness left no room for weakness.

Over time, Norik's reputation in Turia grew, as did his ambitions. His slaves were valued, and the demand for his trained slaves grew. But deep inside, he was driven by the ambition to surpass his father. The image of a successful father haunted him, and so Norik shaped the people in his care with the firm goal of determining their fate and surpassing his father's legacy – whatever the cost.
