Astrid was born in Torvaldsland.
Her father was Arne Linder, a Jarl of Linderheim.
Whilst on raid to the south, he captured a physician woman so captivating to him, he claimed her as mate, and brought her home to the North. Soon after, Astrid, a smiling-faced, happy baby was born. Astrid had a happy childhood with both her wise mother and fair father. They were a respected, loving family in Linderheim.
When Astrid was 11, Arne, her father, went missing upon a raid. Astrid's mother managed to secure safe passage for Astrid & herself back to Svago.
Her mother resumed her work in the Physicians Caste, and Astrid studied at The Teslik & Sip Root Medical School under the tutelage of her Aunt, Lady Nikki Lordes. She was called Lady Morwenna in the South.
After seven years passed by, her mother had recompanioned and had had more children. So, upon her graduation, Astrid bid her mother well, & traveled home to Torvaldsland, hopeful that her father had returned to Linderheim.
On her way home, she stopped at Thorhall. The Jarl required a healer, so Astrid lived as the healer there for a year. Just before Thorhall was buried in a catastrophic snow, she had been blessed to be away on a visit to the south. While visiting her cousin, Solveig, Astrid received news that Thorhall is gone. So, Astrid stayed at Turmus with Solveig for a while. Then she decided it was time to visit her mother who had by then moved to Tyros as Svago was no more. After a year of living with her mother and her new siblings in Tyros, she traveled onwards to Rarn. She lived in Rarn as a merchant, using her tailoring skills, she ran a fashion house quite successfully there... But, Rarn, too, dissipated. So Astrid travels on to the isles and villages of Torvaldsland in a steadfast attempt to find her father, and Linderheim.
Yet, Astrid is grateful for being alive and well, and educated. She has seen much, learned much, acquired much, but not which her heart yearns for. Astrid hopes this year, 10,175 Contasta Ar, she will find what is destined for her.
