Solveig Jarlsdottir

Solveig was born during a bitter winter in the village of Skjernfjord, a fishing and raiding stronghold along the icy coast of Torvaldsland. Daughter to a fierce Jarl and a weaver of high repute, she grew up amidst the clang of axes and the howl of northern winds. Raised in a culture that values strength and honor, she learned early how to read omens in the smoke and to speak her mind without fear. Though trained in the domestic skills befitting a Free Woman, Solveig has always carried the fire of the fjords in her spirit, unyielding and proud.

Following the death of her father in a raid on the Southern coast, Solveig chose not to remain idle under a new Jarl’s rule. With her mother’s wisdom and her father’s will, she journeyed southward in search of trade, alliances, and perhaps a future carved by her own hand, not by the axe of another.
