Lady Nyra was born into one of Venna’s mid-tier trading families, specializing in fine textiles, perfumes, and rare southern oils. Unlike her peers, she showed an early talent not only for luxury trade but for understanding people — reading the subtle language of body, coin, and silence.

When her aging father’s health declined, she assumed increasing control over their trade accounts. She soon expanded their contracts beyond Venna — quietly making inroads in distant cities, attending auctions, negotiating storage rights, and gathering intelligence through the casual whispers of paga taverns and baths.

Now, she journeys city to city — as much a merchant as a collector of opportunity. Ostensibly, her purpose is trade: inspecting wares, forming alliances, and evaluating markets.
