But now a little history:

History in Gor is strange, this is from 2007

Although I am a scribe I am as familiar with the sword and the pen, I now spend my time recollecting my adventures here in Gor as a Magistrate in the great city of Fina with my Kajira Cinnamon, my good friend Talen and his Kajira Ayita.

Time passes ------------------------------------

Disaster strikes and Fina falls, things change and I become an explorer scribe. Surely you have read about us in the texts. Slaves are lost, Masters endure terrible things that tear them from Gor but it strange, sometimes lightening does strike twice.

Now it is 10 years later, and visiting from Tarnburg with her Master and this Master happens to seek refreshment and perhaps a bit of entertainment in a tavern:
Lionhard Euler: "You seem a little unsteady on your feet slave, have you been sampling the wares of the Inn?"
marieanne (marieanne.barrymore) saw the man approach and swiftly dropped to her knees and smiled softly keeping her eyes lowered, "Greetings Master, I pray the day finds you well.." still smiling, "Master? I feel wonderful!" she answered gleefully
Lionhard Euler: "Well I suppose you would if you were half full of drink, wouldn't you?" Lion growled

marieanne (marieanne.barrymore) shivered hearing the growl hoping she had not upset him yet the strength of it made her core shiver in delight, "Of course you are correct Master." she kept her eyes lowered, "I would never steal Master, nor do I have anything to give for any drinks that might fill me with such a feeling, perhaps it is your presence that so intoxicates me Master" she smiled but couldn't keep her fingers from shivering
Lionhard Euler: Laughs uproariously with the wit shown by the slave. With his face alight with a broad smile, Lion looks down at the slave kneeling at his feet and says to her "So little one, you are a very quick wit, and a smooth talker as well.
------------------ and more time passes------------
Current time: Lion finds Marieanne in an auction, and realizes he knew her. He knew she was a slave that a Master would treasure, so beautiful and so charminly witty. For a scribe, she would be perfect, and make him the envy of others. The die was cast, there would be no turning back.

Gathering is weath he attends the auction and, by the grace of Oden and the Priest Kings, he has the winning bid!

Marieanne, or Marie as he calls her now, will make Lion proud of owning her, proud of her serves and pleasing him in ways of delightful flesh. So the story continues.
