I am Emma, Lady Peel
My Husband is Lord Peter Peel the 8th Lord Peel (Of Kent).
In my own right I am, since the death of my Brothers Richard (1892 South Africa)
and James (1901 South Africa) and Father Colonel Lord John (1892 England).
Emma, Countess Eastridge (also in Kent).

My parents met at her Presentation to HRH Queen Victoria in the spring of 1881. (see picture) My father, then Captain was so smitten by her that her proposed, most scandalously that very evening, and again the next day having convinced my Grandfather the his prospects were good. They were married in January of 1882 and I was born on Sept 4th of that year.

My husband went missing in the Amazon some 5 years ago and I proceeded 4 years later th this place to ... well pass my final days. I am attended to my my ladies Maid Maude, who insists on tightening my corset to the point of suffocation, "After all Lady Emma, one must present the best look before the people, The Dowager Countess Peel would insist that you uphold the family status".
