Back Story:

Edgar Regulus, a man of remarkable intellect and vision, has lived a life defined by both privilege and adversity. Born to Samira Al Fisah and Ranger Regulus, Edgar’s arrival was marked by uniqueness and peril. As an albino child born in the Oasis, Edgar faced challenges that prompted his father to take him away to ensure his safety. Ranger’s journey led him to Companion Valeria Alighieri, creating a new chapter in their family’s story in the Island of Cos, City of Telnus. The Regulus family started in Cos in its history.

Family and Early Life

Edgar’s lineage is a complex web of connections. His union in Pakur with Luna Harmony resulted in three children: Parker, Archer, and Thatcher Regulus. Despite the eventual dissolution of their companionship, Edgar’s dedication to his children’s well-being remains steadfast. One or two men have stolen his heart and returned it, what they could not return was his time and efforts. He craves male flesh as much as female flesh. His familial ties extended further through his efforts to protect Kalina, also known as Lotus, a slave girl descended from the Assassin Pakur himself. Kalina, passed down through generations of Assassins, represents a living link to Gor’s storied past, and Edgar’s commitment to her safety underscores his role as both protector and Administrator.

The Fall and Rebirth of Pakur

Edgar’s tenure in Pakur was marked by both triumph and tragedy. He was present during the devastating quake and flood that destroyed the port, witnessing firsthand the excavation of minerals that uncovered evidence of Pakur’s destruction by the blue flame of the Priest Kings in ancient times. His bravery in defending Pakur’s Home Stone during these events nearly cost him his life.

The Bloodaxe Clan’s invasion brought further devastation. Edgar fought valiantly to defend Pakur when the clan attacked, killing his aunt and sister, stealing the Home Stone, and leaving Edgar gravely wounded. In a desperate bid to protect his children, he sent them to safety before fleeing Pakur himself, seeking refuge in Turmus.

Roles and Contributions

Throughout his life, Edgar has worn many hats, embodying the skills and responsibilities of a Scribe. His roles have included Head Scribe, Magistrate, Ambassador, Mapmaker, Teacher, Historian, Recordkeeper, and Accountant. Each position reflects his unwavering commitment to knowledge, leadership, and service.

A New Chapter

Today, Edgar sails aboard the White Larl Ship, leaving behind the ruins of Pakur and seeking shelter in Turmus. He hopes to lead a quieter life, focusing on writing, teaching, traveling, and caring for his surviving family and slaves. Despite the hardships he has endured, Edgar’s resilience and dedication to Gor’s legacy remain unshaken.

Edgar’s story is one of perseverance and sacrifice. From his origins in the Oasis to his role as Pakur’s Administrator, he has navigated the complexities of leadership and survival with grace. His legacy lives on through his children, his enduring commitment to knowledge, and his efforts to preserve Gor’s history for future generations.
