Lira
Born as a free woman of a modest merchant family, Lira had always found joy in the simplicity of serving others, a trait her peers often saw as peculiar. While traveling to deliver a message for her father, she was intercepted on a desolate road by a rugged warrior clad in the colors of a distant city. Her protests were silenced swiftly, and her spirit, though strong, could not resist the bonds he placed upon her.
Now a kajira, Lira finds herself under his strict control, her service bound entirely to him. Every task she performs, whether fetching water, preparing meals, or attending to his whims, is a test of her obedience and resilience. Though her new life is restrictive, there is a strange sense of purpose growing within her—an understanding that submission may bring her closer to the identity she had unknowingly sought all along.
